Treat your furry best friend and your other half to a break at this stylish haven for two, with a gorgeous open-plan living space with a cosy wood burner, a luxurious king-size bedroom, a balcony with lovely views, a garden with a hot tub, and a shared games room. It’s the ideal base for coast and country walks, visiting Newquay and Padstow, and surfing.

The cottage has been tastefully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. Head upstairs to the gorgeous open-plan lounge/diner where there’s lots of space, a doggy-magnet wood burner, a Smart TV/DVD, and a dining table for two. The elegantly decorated super-king-size bedroom is at one end of the space, with a TV/DVD, bags of style and a door which opens out to steps leading to the balcony, perfect for your morning coffee. Heading downstairs, the smart kitchen has contemporary fittings, a funky breakfast bar with stools, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The spa-like bathroom is also on this floor, kitted with robes and toiletries. Outside, is the enclosed balcony that overlooks the garden and boasts a chiminea. A bubbling hot tub lies across the private farm lane, and there is a shared games room with table football, darts, a pool table, and table tennis. There’s also bike storage and access to a large, shared woodland picnic area with two ponds, garden furniture and a BBQ area.

Set off from your door on country walks and visit the golden, sandy beaches dotted along the coast aptly named ‘Seven Bays for Seven Days’ where you can enjoy a different one every day! Let the pup run on Watergate Bay (canine friendly all year) less than 5 miles away, and visit surfing mecca Newquay (7 miles), foodie heaven Padstow (11 miles), and surfers’ favourite, Fistral Bay (8 miles).

The nook is a very beautiful property situated in a very pleasant rural setting,no expense has been spared in the creation of this cottage which is reflected throughout. The interior from the kitchen to the excellent bathroom through to the lounge and the bedroom has been very tastefully thought out. Lovely comfortable property. Quiet and peaceful. Stairs are very steep and deep. Older people need to be very careful as no handrail Overall a lovely location if you like to be away from hustle and bustle.

The cottage was just perfect! The owner clearly gave a lot of thought into what visitors may need and didn't get it wrong. Well equipped,spotlessly clean and super comfortable, everything you need for a relaxing break. The garden,sports room and hot tub are perfect when the weather isn't great for beach days. Super stay at The Nook. Accommodation very clean, well laid out and importantly very comfortable. Host was extremely helpful and accommodating. We loved the hot tub after our long walks. Great location for many beaches and fishing villages.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Everything was really clean and tidy and we had everything we needed such as washing liquid capsules, washing up liquid, cooking oil etc. The hot tub was private and very relaxing, just a few steps away from the property. The games room was good fun and a lovely little extra. The area is very quiet and relaxing but Read morenot within walking distance to the coast. Would highly recommend and we cant wait to return! I booked to stay at The Nook as a surprise for my partner over the long weekend. Upon our arrival we were greeted by our warm, cozy cottage. So much thought was put into everything, from the cleanliness and spacious living space to the homemade scones, jam and cream plus milk provided for us.
