This delightful property situated in the charming seaside town of Brixham in South Devon is perfect for the entire family - including your four-legged friend. Sleeping six across three rooms and with plenty of space for your canine’s favourite bed, you could be enjoying a memorable seaside holiday with your whole pack in no time. With views over the harbour, the comings and goings of boats will keep you mesmerised for hours. When you are ready to venture out, an abundance of attractions and walks will suit you all.

Enjoy the beautiful views across Torbay from the comfortable open-plan lounge, complete with sofas for cosying up on and a dining table for family meals. On sunny evenings, you can throw open the patio doors on to the decked balcony so Fido can enjoy the last of the sun. The contemporary kitchen offers a bright space for cooking up a storm. After a good night’s sleep in the comfortable king-size and twin bedrooms, start the day with an alfresco breakfast on the decked area of the enclosed garden. While you kick-start your day, Fido can wait patiently for his first walk with a roll and run around the lawn.

Known for its historic harbour, Brixham (0.5 miles) offers a range of shops, restaurants and attractions. Learn more about the town’s fascinating history with a visit to the Golden Hind replica, follow in the footsteps of Blackbeard, or discover Brixham’s secrets along the Buccaneers Trail. Enjoy a stroll along Brixham’s Breakwater, stretching half a mile offshore, before enjoying a drink a bite to eat at the Breakwater Bar & Bistro, where a dog-friendly welcome awaits. The saltwater lido at Shoalstone (1 mile) makes for a wonderful swimming spot for humans, and there are no dog restrictions on the beach.

  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Excellent location, about 5 - 10 minutes' walk to the harbour if you are mobile. If you have mobility issues, then the property would be difficult to access from the town centre. Great to have a parking space in front of the bungalow, nice views from the lounge. Well-equipped and spacious.

Ideally located to be close to the harbour and local shops, all just a short walk away. The property was very clean and comfortable. Good outside space for warm evening or afternoons. Great view across the bay.

Very nice, well equipped holiday home with views over the harbour just a short 6/7 mins away. Very comfortable and modern with the benefit of a front deck to enjoy the sunsets at the front plus a raised desk and bbq area in the rear for the evening meals.

Appledore is a lovely property with off road parking for 2 -3 cars The property is very well presented, very clean and good value for money. The enclosed garden was ideal for us and our dog, very relaxing. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants a holiday in Brixham

Lovely property, clean and well equipped we loved it, home from home. Little stroll and you're in the harbour. If you are Coeliac this is the area to go, they have a number of establishments which cater for this condition. We had a lovely meal at Rockfish Restaurant and a takeaway from there. The person in the party who was Coeliac felt at ease. PaRead moresties from Fullers, yummy, brought some home. There is also a Coeliac sweet shop in Dartmouth. Lovely clean well equipped bungalow. Good location Quiet cul de sac .Short walk into harbour and town .It is downhill going and uphill coming back..Outside area would be lovely in summer .Large driveway a bonus too for off road parking. Easily enough space for 3 cars.

Absolutely stunning, comfy, clean and amazing location. Wonderful views from the bay window in the lounge and upstairs bedroom. The additional decking area to the front of the property allowed for tranquility whilst the larger decking area to the rear allowed for appreciation of the views

We had an enjoyable stay at Appledore for a week over Christmas. It is a lovely, spacious dormer bungalow and was fully equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. A short walk from Brixhams harbour, marina and shops. Brixham was welcoming and very dog friendly. Cottage very nice. Good location for Brixham Harbour. As in previous reviews driveway obstructed by non resident parking. Needs yellow lines reinstating. Excellent dog friendly garden. Beds are reasonable - would be nice to have a memory foam topper or a gel mattress. Be advised the Dorma Bedroom staircase is steep and unsuitable for a person that Read moreis unsteady on their feet. Towels could do with replacing. On the whole comfortable. Hide

The best property we have stayed in over the years of visiting Brixham, loads of parking and a secure rear garden that would probably be nice in summer to sit in. Well equipped and comfortable and an easy walk in to Brixham.

The cottage was nice & just a very short stroll to the harbour. Getting on & off the drive was a bit of a nightmare with the road being so narrow & cars parking on it aswell

Fab, clean and comfortable accommodation. Loads of off-road parking in an amazing location and the seaview is a bonus! A very short walk to the harbour and Berry Head. Would definitely recommend, this was our second stay at Appledore.

What a beautiful holiday home from home! The photos dont do it any justice, we were amazed by the amenities, the decor, the cleanliness, comfy beds and pillows, even the milk in the fridge was a nice gesture too. Great location, would definitely recommend. We were a family of 5 adults, a 3 year old child and small dog.
