Come rain or shine, this ten-person retreat in North Devon has it all: style, comfort and location. Whether you are unleashing your inner child in the games room, relaxing in the hot tub or exploring the countryside with your dogs, there is something for all generations to get stuck into and enjoy.
A detached family home, this property boasts plenty of space for both socialising and relaxing. Come inside from the beautiful grounds and make yourselves at home; stepping into the hallway you will immediately get a feel for the quality throughout. Heading down five steps, the spacious lounge awaits with sprawling countryside and river views. When you can tear your gaze away, the lounge has comfortable seating and a TV. For extra ambience on winter evenings, there is also a wood burner. With lots of hungry mouths to feed, the next port of call is the kitchen. Well-equipped and with plenty of appliances in the adjacent utility too, you can easily feed the troops as well as slipping the dogs a biscuit or two. For a sense of occasion, there is a dining area overlooking the lounge. As well as the living areas, you can find two zip-and-link twin bedrooms that can be made into super-kings and two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (via a step down) that can be made into twins on the ground floor. All but one of these have en-suite bathrooms. The first floor has a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be turned into a twin) with a TV and en-suite bathroom.
Outside, enjoy the large gardens or head into Instow (0.5 miles) where your dogs will go barking mad for the large stretch of sand dunes, although restrictions apply on some parts of the beach. Take the Tarka Trail towards Barnstaple or Bideford for miles of flat, traffic-free walkies.
