This secluded stone barn conversion, set amidst the beauty of the North Cotswolds, sleeps five guests and welcomes one dog making it an ideal rural retreat with friends or family. Surrounded by countryside just waiting to be explored, the cottage is a fantastic base for walkers with access onto waymarked paths, so your canine companion will be in doggy heaven! French doors opening onto the lawn from both the kitchen and lounge expand the space and let the natural light in.
Inside the property, there’s plenty of space for your canine to curl up, whether that’s by the wood burner in the lounge - a cheerful and cosy room with exposed beams and painted stone walls - or at the foot of the bed in one of the three chic bedrooms. Gather round the dining table at mealtimes in the bright kitchen space and enjoy countryside views from your seat. Upstairs, the traditional features continue, with more exposed beams. The bedrooms are charming and airy spaces to rest your head, with high ceilings and natural light. On the lawn by the house you can relax on the garden furniture, while the more energetic amongst your pack can stroll to the bottom of the garden where they’ll find a hard tennis court, with racket and balls provided, and a trampoline. Please note that the garden is not enclosed.
Ettington village is close by, 1.5 miles away with a store for essentials and supplies, and a friendly inn to while away the evening. Take a day trip to beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon (7.5 miles), birthplace of Shakespeare and home to the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre, where there are events happening all year round. Venturing further afield, Blenheim Palace (26 miles) is a majestic location, and dogs on leads are welcome to rove and explore the park but cannot go inside the grand building.
