This thoughtfully renovated property is situated close to the owner's farmhouse on an expansive 10-acre farm. The peaceful atmosphere makes this barn a wonderful location for those who want to escape life's everyday hustle and bustle, yet still be within distance of many of Cornwall’s most popular destinations.
You quickly get a sense of tradition and history in this converted barn, with its exposed beams, slate floors and striking stone fireplace in the lounge. The homely wood burner gives out warmth and comfort while guests can enjoy watching Smart TV or a DVD from plush leather sofas. The family can share an evening meal in the separate dining room, while breakfast can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar in the kitchen. To the delight of dog walkers, there is a handy boot room located next to the kitchen, ideal for when you return from a walk with muddy boots - and, perhaps, a muddy dog. Outside, guests can enjoy the private hot tub, and an enclosed patio area offers a chance to enjoy a coffee in the fresh air, or even a burger cooked on the charcoal BBQ.
The coastal town of Looe is 16 miles south-east of the property, where you can enjoy the picturesque harbour, browse through the gift shops and boutiques and enjoy lunch in one of the cosy and friendly cafes. Polperro (16 miles) has a lovely harbour and many other attractions, including the renowned Model Village, which is dog friendly. In fact, most places and amenities in Polperro welcome our furry friends all year round, including pubs, restaurants and Polperro Beach.
