This cosy wooden lodge on a working farm in the Peak District offers wonderful moorland views and plenty of space for kids and dogs to get out and explore. There are lots of country walks to be had across that moorland, straight from the doorstep, so there’s no need to get in the car for beautiful dog walking routes. If you want to go further, the Peak District is full of challenging trails, easy strolls and pub stops.
Inside, you’ll find spacious accommodation with great views at every turn. There is a lovely lounge to snuggle up in with the dogs, with sofas and a wood burner to help you warm up after a hard day’s walking. The kitchen/diner has everything you’ll need to make you feel at home and a family dining table by the window with outstanding views over the countryside. The dogs will be raring to go before you’ve even finished breakfast. There are also two comfortable bedrooms and a shower room. Outside, there is a large private decked terrace where you can watch the sun go down after a long day exploring, drink in hand, while the dogs snooze. What could be lovelier?
