Enjoy the peaceful appeal of country life when staying here in Herefordshire, enjoying endless walks from your doorstep and close proximity to three AONB areas. If you’re a dog lover, we’re certain you won’t want to explore this beautiful region without the company of man’s best friend and this charming property welcomes along one dog to stay alongside you. Sleeping four guests across two cosy bedrooms, the cottage is perfectly appointed for any family and their beloved dog.

Step into the lounge/diner to find traditional décor with authentic wooden beams and an original fireplace. Throw a log or two on the wood burner to create an ambient space to unwind in the evening, no doubt finding your canine companion curled up at your feet or hogging the warmth in front of the wood burner. Cook up a storm in the kitchen and dine together in the dining room before enjoying evening drinks on the patio. Perfect for even the most energetic of pups, this cottage features a 90 foot  garden that’s set to lawn and entirely enclosed so your dog is free to explore.

Boasting a prime location for walkies galore, the property is just a short drive from the Shropshire Hills AONB (15 miles), Malvern Hills AONB (20 miles) and the Wye Valley AONB (17.5 miles). Pack up tennis balls and dog treats for day trips and endless hiking routes, perhaps discovering routes along the River Wye (17 miles) or venturing as far as the border towns and the Brecon Beacons National Park (22 miles). Less adventurous pups will find a charming walking route into Leominster’s town centre (1 mile), admiring the historic buildings and perhaps picking up local produce to be prepared back at the cottage.

Overall the cottage is well equipped, comfortable and in a lovely location. We love it because we live in Dorset and have a lot of relatives and friends living in Herefordshire so we can spend the week visiting as many of them as we can.

It was a very comfy and warm cottage.. It was easy to find in a lovely location. Would highly recommend. Local Area: Although there were good supermarkets and fish and chip shop in Leominster the town was a little rundown. A visit to Ludlow, Westonbury Mill Water Gardens and the cider company are highly recommended.

Lovely cottage at a good price & thanks very much for the complimentry items, we replaced the coffee and Oil we used, without doubt the best equiped cottage we have stayed in, and thats a lot! Leominster is not the best tourist town (my personal view) but has everythinbg you need and Ludlow which appears to be a more tourist friendly town is a shorRead moret drive away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there, the cottage is homely and as I have said really well equiped with comfy seating and beds. Hide

Lovely break shame the weather wasn't better. The only criticism was there was no paths close by for country walks and the road was quite busy. The cottage was lovely.

Very comfortable cottage-style accommodation, well-equipped, and a relaxing environment. Very good on the whole. Spacious rooms, handy for the town centre by car (it's less than the 30 minute walk described but the twisting, initially path-less road is potentially hazardous for pedestrians). Agree with Paul's June 2023 review - were a few small cobwebs. Several reviews say how comfortable the beds are but slightly firm for me. N.B. A very comfortable cottage in a quiet location. The beds and the easy chairs and sofa in the lounge were particularly good. An excellent spot if you are interested in touring around, with National Trust properties and Ludlow (which is a must) within easy reach. There were a few cobwebs in the corners of some windows, crumbs from the toaster and a gRead morereasy cooker which disappointed but we note that other reviews comment on the cleanliness, so maybe just a blip.
