This characterful, cosy property is perfect for romantic breaks for three, sleeping two humans and one canine. It’s set in gorgeous rural seclusion in the grounds of its artist owner’s Shropshire home, but with plenty of privacy. It’s the perfect place for relaxed countryside breaks with lots of easy local walks to take and wildlife to spot. A little further afield, the Shropshire countryside offers lots of options for adventurous dogs, including the nearby Clee Hill, where you’ll get amazing views over the countryside as your reward for making the climb.
The property is set in woodland and has several floor-to-ceiling windows with views out over the trees. Step inside and you’ll find a large open-plan living space with exposed beams. There is a cosy lounge area at one end, with a wood burner for you to curl up with your dogs and get warm on chilly nights. There is a well-equipped kitchen area and a dining table that’s perfectly set up for meals for two, with room for the dog to snuggle up at your feet. There is a double bedroom and bathroom, both with the same full-height windows. Outside, you’ll find a private raised terrace with garden furniture and an enclosed paddock complete with the owner’s artwork – you can browse while the dogs run!
The property is half a mile from the village of Coreley, but shops and pubs are further afield, around 5 miles away. It makes the perfect base for exploring the Shropshire Hills and the Wyre Forest, both of which offer heaps of trails to suit view-seekers and stick-chasers alike. The market town of Ludlow is 10 miles away, home to beautiful Tudor architecture, a castle and lots of pubs, shops and restaurants.
