Grandly situated within six acres of lush green land, this welcoming wonderful detached home offers spacious accommodation for all your family and friends to get together. The games room is a real treat. With toasty wood burners, toes and tails are promised cosy warmth on lazy mornings or on their return home from adventuring the beautiful countryside nearby. A wonderfully light property, you will have no trouble unwinding and switching into holiday mode as soon as you step feet and paws inside.

On arrival, put your feet up in the stylish lounge where comfortable furniture invites you to switch off by the wood burner. Fill hungry tummies and rustle up a tasty treat in the kitchen which is superbly smart and has plenty of room for all hands on deck to help cook up a storm. A breakfast table sits in front of the fire for a cosy snack or a warming cup of tea. For formal meals, dine in the bright garden room where the dining table seats all two-legged guests and enjoys views across the countryside. The snug is the perfect spot for an afternoon chill and houses a further wood burner and a bookcase brimming with tales. Climb the Victorian staircase to discover the elegant bedrooms where heads can drift off to sleep; two of the rooms are treated to en-suites and there is a family shower room and a bathroom where muddy paws can be rinsed and soggy fur towelled dry.

Having made the most of the garden with well-equipped games barn, pop on a lead and head out to explore your surroundings. Just 30 miles from home lies the centre of the Shropshire Hills AONB, explore off the beaten track or follow footpaths to discover beautiful nature, sticks to chase and gloriously green views.

The cottage is very comfortable, set in a wonderful position for walking and cycling. It is also a superb setting to watch the sunsets and wildlife, including the Red Kites and the swallows nesting were a joy. The cottage would be lovely in any season , allowing for the Wesh weather and easily accommodated our 7 adults. The owner provided a new BBQRead more and games equipment. Hide

Compared to the photos many of the rooms have been re designed since the photos were taken and the photos do not do the house justice. It is stunning and comfortable. Amazingly well equipped and spacious. You dont really want to leave, but if you do there are great walks from the house.

The location is beautiful and the house lovely, but lacking TLC! We had a few cleanliness issues when we arrived but these were dealt with promptly. There are lots of great walks on the doorstep and our dogs loved the outdoor space around the house. A wonderful location for a large family gathering.

This house was perfect of a party of 8 and 2 dogs. Lots of space but still had a cosy feel. Very well equipped , great outside space and excellent views. Definitely the place to come to relax and get away from it all. Having said that, plenty of walks and fishing opportunities to be had.

Spacious, well equipped, comfortable property in super location. The dogs were happy to run around the field at the back of the house, which is encelosed with hedges. Our children were 12 and 17 which was fine to allow them to enter the barn to play table tennis. If they were younger, I would have np even a little concerned that as it is also a workshop, there were a few hazards around. Other than that small point, the property was amazing.
