Outside, there is a safe, enclosed garden with a large lawn and a patio area where you can sit in the sunshine while the dogs explore the new sounds and smells. There is also a lovely veranda overlooking the river, perfect for al fresco meals and drinks on sunny days. If the weather is not so good, take advantage of the garden room, which has a selection of games including table tennis and table football, a Smart TV, DVD player and games console.
With the river running close by, you can enjoy lovely walks straight from your front door or head out into the breathtaking Brecon Beacons for doggy days out in the invigorating Welsh mountains. The Welsh town of Crickhowell is just 5 miles away, with its ruined castle, canal and riverside walks, shops and cafes to explore. Take a day trip to literary Hay-on-Wye (20 miles), and after a stroll around the many bookshops of this pretty town enjoy a picnic on the banks of the picturesque River Wye.
