This beautiful seaside family home is less than a mile from the dramatic North Cornish coastline and is the perfect base for exploring the many beaches, walkies and attractions that Bude and the wider area offers. Enjoy this beautiful property with the whole family – that includes the pups! Sleeping eight humans and two canine companions, no one will be left out of the fun. After leaving an endless trail of paw prints on one of the nearby beaches, return home and enjoy hot chocolate around the wood burner in the lounge with a salty seadog.

Cook up a storm in the modern kitchen with the bi-fold doors open to letting in the fresh sea breeze and doubling the space of the room. Play games with the kids and Fido around the patio, whilst keeping half an eye on dinner in the oven. Enjoy a BBQ or a picnic, complete with cream teas, in the expansive enclosed garden, whilst a content pooch sniffs around the grass. Remember you are in Cornwall, so jam first on the scone! At the end of the day, retreat to one of the four stylishly decorated bedrooms after settling squabbles over who gets the top bunk.

Walk the endless sands at low tide at dog-friendly Sandymouth beach (5 miles) and dig holes, chase sticks, swim in the clear waters, or just admire the rugged cliff backdrop with small waterfalls. Venture up the cliffs and walk the coast path with stunning views and rolling hills. Head to Summerleaze Beach (0.5 miles) for the day and watch the swimmers in the sheltered sea pool, before heading into town for a local pasty and ice cream.

The house was comfortable garden very nice ans secure for the dog. The cottage felt like it needed some TLC. Pillows certainly needed replacing. Beds comfortable however second double room is too single beds pushed together. When we arrived we were greated by discarded cleaning clothes and bags full of dog poo not a good first impression. Lots of eRead morequipment although not matching. Location is very good short walk to beaches shops etc. No welcoming touches left. This is at best 3 star. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oceans Echo and would certainly re-book if returning to Bude in the future. The open plan living area was well laid out and meant we could all remain together and socialise whenever any cooking activity was taking place. The snug became the preserve of the grandchildren, 13, 10 and 8. The location was perfect. We wRead morealked everywhere. We felt immediately at home at Ocean Echo. Loads of space, excellent utensils in kitchen - thought of everything! Well kept garden with a huge lawn & patio - enclosed for the dogs. Excellent family accommodation which was enjoyed by 3 generations. Well equipped and very comfortable. Within easy walking to beaches and all amenities. We hope to return soon.

A great house in a fantastic location. Easy walks to beach and coastal paths. All bedrooms a good size. Most of our evenings were spent in the kitchen diner with french doors open. The garden has been kept up together and was great to sit out in on nice days. Would book again and would recommend.

We had a great time at Ocean Echo, the property is very well situated for Bude and the beach, all well within walking distance. On rainy days we visited The Eden Project and Milky way, and during dry spells walked to Bude and the beach, which is lovely. The house provided plenty of space for our family of 6 plus toddler and the garden was a lovely space for our grandson to play. As mentioned to the owner the kitchen lacked a pasta server, pizza cutter and vegetable peeler, that our basic equipment and hopefully that will be rectified. Our second stay at Ocean Echo and would love to return. Very homely with plenty of space for our party of adults and dogs. Garden very pretty and peaceful. Well equipped and beds comfortable. The property was conveniently located for Bude. It was adequate for the price paid, but if I had paid the high season cost I would have said it was below the standard I would have expected.
