With a bay window overlooking the neighbouring fields, the lounge is an ideal space to relax, snuggle up and enjoy a movie or chat into the night. The spacious dining room is perfect for sharing your favourite family meals which can be prepared in the light, welcoming and fully equipped kitchen with views out across the countryside. There are traditional wood burners in the lounge and the dining room, and a selection of games and books to enjoy. Three cosy and restful bedrooms are on the first floor – a double, a twin and a single, all tastefully decorated in light, simple colour schemes. French windows lead from the dining room and out into the back garden which features a patio with seating so you can relax with a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The front garden features a couple of benches so you can sit back and take in the beautiful scenery.
There are several dog-friendly pubs in Hawkshead, a village famed for its associations with both Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Dogs are welcome at many local attractions including the grounds at Wray Castle (3 miles), the Lakeland Motor Museum (10 miles) and Grizedale Forest (3 miles).
