Unwind in this beautiful red brick barn located in the grounds of the owner’s home in the heart of Pontesbury, a traditional Shropshire village. There’s an abundance of beautiful countryside on your doorstep and with so many great walks for your four-pawed pal as well as an awesome mountain biking track for adventurous types in Eastridge Woods nearby, this property makes the perfect base for a group of seven with one dog.

Top dogs will love the open-plan lounge/dining area at this inviting farmhouse. Relax with a good book in the small snug area of the living space while your pup takes a nap next to the wood burner in the larger seating area with corner sofa. The kitchen has a sociable centre island that’s the perfect place to perch while a member of your group cooks up a storm and once your dog catches a whiff of your delicious dinner, they’ll be by your feet in no time. Upstairs you’ll find one king-size bedroom, one twin, one bunk bedroom and one single with an additional pull out bed that can be made upon request. There are also two bathrooms with showers over the bath and WCs, on this floor. Once your hound hits the hay for the night, why not head outside to your own raised terrace, which comes with exclusive use of a hot tub (hot tub will be removed 20th Feb 2023) . Such bliss after a day’s adventure! The terrace also has garden furniture and there’s the use of a small gas BBQ upon request.

Less than 10 miles away is Shrewsbury, an ancient medieval market town with over 600 listed buildings including a castle and world-famous abbey. Discover a great 2-mile walk with your pup from your doorstep as you ramble across fields and through villages, heading towards the babbling Pontesford Brook.

Beautiful, spotlessly clean cottage. The village is lovely, the local shop, just around the corner is excellent. Lots of nice walks and interesting places to visit close by.
