We had booked the smaller cottage, but the owners had found a problem with the heating, so we had the larger property for the week. It was extremely comfortable, warm and had a well equipped kitchen.

Spice cottage is a really lovely place for a Devon break. The gardens are beautiful, much more than the photos on the website show, and create a very peaceful and relaxing environment. The cottage is well equipped and the owners are nearby if needed. It's proximity to Dartmoor and the A30 for travel into Cornwall are great advantages and both northRead more and south coasts are accessible. We recommend a visit to Castle Drogo and Cotehele and also The New Inn, just down the road, for a great meal. Hide
