The enclosed garden offers plenty of space for children and your pup to play, whilst adults relax over drinks on the patio, whilst in cooler months the cosy lounge offers a warm and welcoming place to unwind.
A flight of external steps to the garden brings guests to the front door. Inside of this cottage where the lounge is dominated by a huge inglenook fireplace with its warming wood burner. The four bedrooms are arranged on the first floor with one a few steps from the lounge, the bathroom is located on the ground floor. Outside, the garden is a delightful spot to enjoy the fresh sea air, in addition to which there is a courtyard seating area situated at the top of a flight of exterior steps via the kitchen, providing a fabulous spot for al fresco dining.
Set in the village of Appledore, you will find everything that the village has to offer within a mile of the property. Take a walk around the harbour to watch the toing and froing of the boats, or perhaps hop on the passenger ferry to the neighbouring village of Instow where the beach is partially open to dogs all year round with some restrictions. Alternatively, why not take a leisurely walk along the River Torridge, before ending the day in one of Appledore’s dog-friendly pubs.
