Discover Okehampton’s quaint selection of cafes and restaurants, sniffing out some delicious local produce before exploring the remains of the second oldest Norman castle in the county, Okehampton Castle (1.5 miles) – which offers lots of exciting new smells and panoramic views across the River Okement. Keen thrill seekers can take the lead to conquer Dartmoor’s Yes Tor or High Willhays, both reached within 10 miles.
