Take your dog on holiday to Shropshire and stay at the lovely semi-detached barn. It’s perfect for you and your hounds to take a break in and at the same get to know the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Sleeping four guests and up to two of your furry companions, this property provides the perfect backdrop for growing families on holiday. There are plenty of dog-friendly beauty spots to explore alongside county market towns with plenty of pubs that make your pets welcome.
Compact and comfortable, the design of this lovely converted barn centres around the open-plan lounge / kitchen / dining area. The interior design is very tasteful, with neutrals and pastel colours dominating the palette. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you could possibly need to prepare some delicious home cooking – why not try that new recipe you’ve cut out of a magazine especially. The lounge is arranged for maximum cosiness with the focal point being the TV and the wood burner. Prime position should be reserved for your dogs to stretch out and bask in its glow. There are more delights outside – shortly after arrival you will encounter the garden deck with a BBQ, traditional dart board and lovely farmland views.
Your dogs are sure to love haring through the likes of Mortimer Forest or tearing up the slopes at Clee Hill. Many of the local visitor attractions are open rural spots and there’s no end to the selection of countryside footpaths and byways you can all enjoy on your escape to Shropshire. Head to the medieval town of Ludlow and walk along the River Teme at the foot of a large cliff. If you are in the town around September, you will find yourselves in gourmet heaven as the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival kicks off. Something for all the family, especially the hounds!
Please note Tenbury Cottage is given as a priority to Redford Farm Barns until 3 months before the booking date.
