We believe that your four-legged friend should never be left out of family adventures, and this cottage will make the perfect escape for you and your canine. Located in the heart of the Black Mountains on a working farm, you’ll truly be set away from the fast-pace of everyday life amongst the quietness of the countryside to explore at your own leisure. Ideal for large family getaways or a relaxing retreat with friends, there’s plenty of activities to suit everyone; whether it be cycling, walking or pony trekking in the neighbouring valleys.
This cottage offers a spacious country-style open-plan downstairs living area, in which one very well-behaved dog is welcome. This room is furnished with a wood burner and a large corner sofa, while on the left side of the room is a stylish kitchen and a chic farmhouse dining table. A little further on is where the kids among us can make themselves at home in the additional games room, which features a pool table, darts board and PlayStation. Upstairs, you’ll discover three bright, spacious bedrooms. The exterior of the property features an enclosed wildlife / insect friendly garden to allow your canine companion to run free, while coming furnished with garden seating and a BBQ for chilling out on summer evenings and observing the mountainous landscape. Please note any interaction with the animals must only be done with the permission and supervision of the owners and it might not always be appropriate.
If you’re looking for the perfect destinations to walk your dog nearby, you may decide to pay a trip to the riverside town of Crickhowell (4 miles) or the larger town of Abergavenny which is 5 miles away. Within 25 miles, you can wander through stunning Brecon or Hay-on-Wye; the latter of which has gained popularity for its literary festival and numerous book shops in recent years.
