This stunning listed cottage is full of charm and spacious enough for the whole family and pup, but still manages to remain cosy and inviting. Sleeping five people and two hounds, this Victorian homestead is ideally placed to explore Hastings and its surrounding countryside. Enjoy a windswept walk in the picturesque Hastings Country Park, before returning home to dust off muddy paws and boots and relax in front of the roaring open fire.

Rest tired legs on the comfortable sofas in the stylish lounge and relax with a good book in the light flooding in through the large Victorian windows. Rustle up a family meal in the contemporary, yet rustic-style, kitchen, before enjoying the fruits of your labour around the wooden table in the dining room. Socialise after dinner and have a glass of wine on the sofas in the dining area, with a content Fido recovering from all those long countryside walks at your feet. At the end of the day, retreat to one of the three elegant bedrooms – this property boasts one king-size, one twin room and one single bedroom. Play with Fido whilst the in the small courtyard – the perfect spot to while away summer evenings.

Leave no stick unfetched and no smell unsniffed on the endless walks in Hastings Country Park (2.5 miles). Wander down to the beach (1 mile), build sandcastles and get salty toes and paws in the lapping waves, or spend the day mooching around Hastings town (1 mile) and enjoy a treat at one of the many local, independent dog-friendly pubs and eateries.

Sue has thought of everything. This is the perfect cottage to explore Hastings There was cereal for breakfast, milk and all the cooking basics. Great walks and views nearby

Lovely stay over the hottest week of the year, downstairs nice and cool. Plenty of hot water for baths and showers. We walked most days to the pebble beach, downhill going and uphill back but we managed it with ages from 5 to 67.

Lovely holiday cottage with loads of character. Very peaceful stay in this spacious cottage. We are a family of 4 with 2 older teens so two bathrooms is an asset. Far enough away from the old town to enjoy peace and quiet but within walking distance of all amenities. Plenty of walks with views from the cliff tops. Owners were very helpful. Lovely property deceptively large inside. Comfortably furnished. The property owner Sue is really helpful, providing treats on our arrival and making sure we arrived safely and were comfortably installed. Plenty of information in the packs left for visitors with " how to" and "where to go"'. Not for anyone with mobility issues but this is pointed oRead moreut in the description. Really lovely property and very convenient for Hastings Old Town. The property contained everything you could possibly want and the welcome pack was perfect. Sue, the owner even made some delicious blueberry muffins for us which didn't last very long!!
