Its interior is quirky and cheerful, with natural light able to fill all corners of its bright and spacious rooms. An open staircase in the lounge leads up to an open-plan landing, from which a double bedroom, two single bedrooms and a shower room can be found only a few pawprints apart. The courtyard garden at the rear of the cottage is a real suntrap and a place for books, refreshments or a good old-fashioned dog nap.

We had a lovely week at Moordale Cottage and can recommend it as an ideal place to stay to explore the beautiful North York Moors. The information we received from the owners prior to and during our stay was very helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for a perfect week. The welcome basket was an added bonus!

A cosy cottage in a superb location for exploring the moors and North east coastline. Loved nearby Saltburn, Staithes and Whitby. I'd say it was good value for money. The welcome pack we received on arrival was fantastic.

The cottage was in a great location for exploring the North York Moors & the surrounding areas. The cottage was well equipped & the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The only thing I would recommend is that the cottage is a little dated & would benefit from a little freshen up.
