The very dog-friendly pub Emery Down, where your dogs can join you anywhere in the restaurant, bar or large garden, is a but a short stroll from the cottage (less than 200 metres). Golf courses are at nearby Lyndhurst and Bramshaw (10 miles), horse riding is at Brockenhurst (5 miles) and you may enjoy The Motor Museum in Beaulieu (9 miles). Bournemouth is 21 miles away or spend the day at Lymington (10 miles) where you can catch a ferry to the Isle of Wight or meander along the historic cobbled quay.
