This pretty single-storey stone cottage is just the place to escape to if you are looking to enjoy a break away with your partner and your waggy-tailed friend. It sits within small complex of cottages just 2.5 miles from the spectacular beach at Perranporth on Cornwall’s Atlantic coast.
A single step leads up to the front door of this cottage, but once inside it is all laid out across one level. The living area is a charming open-plan space with comfortable seating gathered around a wood burner-effect electric fire, in front of which is sure to be a favourite spot for your dog to curl up at the end of a day of adventuring. The bedroom is a cosy affair, and yet has been tastefully finished with a subtle seaside theme, in a nod to the beauty of the surrounding coastal region. To the front of the cottage there is a small seating area where many guests like to sit out with a drink in the mornings.
Set within 2.5 miles from the majestic Atlantic coast, this cottage could not be in a better location if you dream of spending your days walking, playing, and relaxing on an idyllic beach. Perranporth Beach is open to dogs all year-round (they must be on a lead during July and August between 9am – 5pm) and is an impressive expansive of sand which is ideal for running and playing fetch in the waves. When you feel like a break, make your way to the UK’s only on-beach pub, which sits right on the sand and offers a tasty menu to be enjoyed alongside an excellent programme of live music events, which is sure to set tails wagging and feet tapping.
