Lovely property on a working farm. Ideally placed for exploring the Peak District, just the farm road away from the A6, but away from any traffic noise. Nicely converted farm buildings, well equipped and spacious.

Poorly equipped cottage in a lovely location. But not worth 4 stars and not worth the money we paid.

Perfect location for a peaceful retreat. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating for our Christmas stay. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Lovely views from the property and walks with the dog in the immediate area (as well as amazing Peak walks). We took advantage of one of the adjoining cottages for friends which was also perfect.

Would definitely stay here again. Lovely views from the cottage. Central location perfect for touring the Peak District and not far from Alton Towers. Cottage clean and tidy with a nice seating area outside.

Idyllic location, very quiet, enjoyed watching lambs in the field. Cottage looked small from outside but was a good size. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for clothes. Great hot water / water pressed. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment for family of 6. WiFi was terrible and with poor phone reception in this area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Meadow Cottage. The family were in the midst of lambing season but still made us feel very welcome and at home. Its a busy farm and we liked that. The location was perfect. The farm is situated between Buxton and Bakewell off the A6 (but you cant see or hear the road), and its a relatively short walk down to the MonsalRead more trail and Chee Dale. The views across the surrounding countryside were fantastic. Like being on top of the world. Thanks for a great holiday! Hide
