Enjoying an idyllic countryside location within walking distance of village amenities, dogs and their owners will have a ball exploring the many walks and trails accessed straight from the doorstep. With two bedrooms, this is the ideal location for families to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the heart of the Peak District. Four-legged guests can sniff out the best shady spot in the courtyard garden and enjoy a good romp around the adjacent field.

Go mutts for this enchanting converted barn with traditional features and comfortable accommodation where two and four-legged guests can relax and unwind. The living area is light and airy with cosy sofas and warm rugs. Your pet will never feel far from your side as you prepare a meal in the open-plan kitchen. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom with separate family bathroom with shower. Remember to pack your dog’s favourite blanket so they can curl up in comfort at bedtime. Outside is a pretty patio area where you can share a sociable al fresco meal or early evening drink. A charming walled garden adjoins the property and your hound will love spending time running around the adjacent field.

Step out of your door and pick up the Monsal Trail, a lovely traffic-free path which goes along disused railway lines and through well-lit tunnels. Visit Thornbridge Hall (1 mile) to discover the 12 acres of formal gardens, including the Koi lake and sculpture trail; stop for a light bite in the café which serves excellent craft beers produced in the Hall’s own brewery. Further afield, visit the National Tramway Museum at Crich (10 miles) where the whole family, including your canine companions, can ride the vintage trams and stop off at the woodland walk or the sculpture trail to stretch their legs.

Easy to access the Monsal Trail and other tourist sites - all within 20 miles. Barn was lovely and comfortable with everything you would need. Thank you!
