We had a great stay at this property which is ideally located for lots of lovely walks and visits to nice towns on those wet weather days. There were two good pubs nearby and we ate at both and really enjoyed both meals. The property itself was really well equipped, great shower over bath in the upstairs bathrooms and ground floor walk in shower. Enjoyed our stay-comfortable and well equipped. Would have been grateful for another comfy chair. Did not appreciate the long ,quite patronising instructions about how we should behave on our holiday. As a retired teacher in her 70s I do know how to behave when away from home!

A beautiful cottage in a great location near Bakewell and shops. The cottage was well appointed and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value. Great cottage for us as a group of two couples and an aunt. Would recommend to my friends and family.
