Whether it’s exploring or relaxing that you enjoy, this home is perfect for guests young, old, furry and waggy-tailed. Head out for the day and set foot on the west beach at Charmouth which welcomes canines all year around, or pop to the quaint local village of Whitchurch Canonicorum before snuggling up by the wood burner for the night. Spend warmer evenings outside with an al fresco tipple.
The downstairs living space is open-plan and cosy. The wood burner in the lounge area throws heat into the property and will keep tails, toes and tummies warm. Curl up on the sofas where there is plenty of room for all of your two-legged guests. Rustle up picnics, feasts and tasty titbits in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy a sociable dinner at the table. If the day calls for a BBQ, step outside and eat alfresco on the decking. Your furry guest can safely roam the enclosed garden and chase their tail as you savour your food before retiring for the night to one of three lovely bedrooms. Up a small step, the first double room and bathroom are on the ground floor. Upstairs, a further double room has an en-suite shower and a triple room is treated to an en-suite bathroom. All of the first-storey rooms have quirky sloping ceilings.
For panoramic views across stunning coast and countryside, head to Seatown, 3.5 miles from home and climb the footpath up the National Trust’s Golden Cap hill and cliff. Visit the ‘Pearl of Dorset’, Lime Regis, a 6-mile trip, and grab a bite to eat at a welcoming eatery before roaming its pretty streets.
