Sitting in the small village of Instow, this cottage is in the perfect location, and is the ideal property to spend some time away with your loved ones. With a dog-friendly beach close by and the Tarka Trail offering scenic walks or cycle rides out to the towns of Barnstaple and Bideford there are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. At the end of the day return home to this cosy property and relax in the secluded courtyard or light up the electric fire.
The property has neutral tones throughout and has been subtly decorated with a nautical theme to compliment the estuary this village is located on. With its large kitchen and spacious lounge/diner this property will comfortably house up to three people and two pooches. After an evening stroll along the sandy beach, if calling in at one of the beachside pubs isn’t your thing, then head back to the cottage for a homecooked meal and enjoy a glass of wine sat out in the secluded courtyard and take in the starry sky.
There are plenty of things to do close to Instow. Whether that’s walk part of the South West Coast Path, explore the market towns of Bideford (4 miles) and Barnstaple (6 miles), or spend the day shopping at Affinity Outlet Devon just 5.5 miles away. For a more adventurous day why not head down to Skern Lodge for a day of abseling and high ropes or try your luck on the Total Wipeout course at the Ultimate Adventure Centre in Abbotsham, both no further than 6 miles away. For something a bit closer to home why not spend your days exploring the dunes, crabbing on the waterfront, and relaxing with a meal at either the Boathouse or the Instow Arms.
