This characterful Edwardian property has been tastefully refurbished in 2016, but still maintains a good deal of its original period features. It enjoys beautiful views of the mountains, with some seaward glimpses. Surrounded by pretty gardens which your canine companions will love, it is ideally situated to explore this part of Wales. Eight people are comfortably accommodated in four sumptuous bedrooms, with dedicated room for four happy hounds.
Featuring wooden flooring (ideal for dogs), the welcoming lounge enjoys pleasing mountain views. It is a perfect, homely space for relaxing in the evenings with Fido by your side, enjoying a drink, a game or watching a TV programme together. The dining room offers plenty of space where you can sit and chat into the late hours. There is a separate breakfast room just off the kitchen, ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee and reading the morning paper. All four bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with beautiful wooden flooring and feature fireplaces in the twin bedrooms. The separate studio acts as a games room, with pool table, games console and a collection of board games for everyone to enjoy, while your furry pals chase each other around the tiered gardens.
The village of Friog is half a mile from Fairbourne, which has a beautiful sandy beach, ideal for playing and running with your four-legged friend, though there are restrictions during the summer months. Within easy access, you can join a number of footpaths for scenic walks with your dogs - along the coast, the estuary or in the Snowdonia National Park (20 miles). Explore Friog's Blue Lake under half a mile or climb to the top of Cadair Idris (16 miles). The popular water taxi trip in Barmouth (13 miles) is dog-friendly and they travel for free.
