The ground floor of this property is an open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge. During the day, you’ll get plenty of natural light from the glass patio doors, and then in the evening, you can switch the flame-effect electric fire on for a cosy feeling. The kitchen and dining areas have wooden accents and behind the lounge, you’ll notice a staircase. Head upstairs to the two bedrooms, a double and a twin. Both are wonderfully comfortable and have sloped ceilings with skylights. Finally, there’s a family bathroom with a bath, a separate shower, and a WC. Your cottage comes with a private balcony and garden furniture, and you can use the shared grounds where you’ll find a play area, trampoline and lawn for the dog to sniff around.
You’ll be staying right at the tip of Northumberland with plenty of gorgeous coastline to explore. Nearby highlights include Cocklawburn Beach (2 miles) which is dog friendly and has stretches of sand, then rock pools, then more sand. Spittal Beach (1.5 miles) also invites canines and has a lovely view of the Berwick Lighthouse. If you need supplies, try the shops in Tweedmouth (1.5 miles), or cross the river to visit Berwick-upon-Tweed (2.5 miles) for dog-friendly pubs and the opportunity to climb Berwick-upon-Tweed Castle and Ramparts – adventurous dogs (and their humans) welcome!
