A great choice for owners of a small or medium dog, this home-from-home cottage is quiet, cosy and peaceful, with a patio and private lawn. It’s located close to Lyme Regis, in a great position for exploring the beaches and villages of the Jurassic Coast, and is ideal for a couple, friends or small families seeking a relaxing getaway with their canine bestie.
Set at the end of the owner’s drive in a quiet area, the lodge features a sociable, open-plan living space where you can cook, dine and relax in comfort. In warm weather you can throw open the patio doors and enjoy fresh air and that lovely inside/outside feeling. The well-designed, compact kitchen includes everything you’ll need to serve up tasty meals, and there’s a Smart TV so that you can snuggle down on the comfy sofas and stream your favourite shows. At bedtime, settle your furry friend down for the night and head along the hall to the king-size bedroom, which has a TV and an en-suite shower room. There’s also a twin bedroom, which uses a separate shower room. For drinks and meals alfresco, there’s garden furniture on the patio, and your mutt will love sniffing around and chasing his tail on the lawn.
The lodge is less than 0.5 miles from a lovely tea room, and only 4 miles from Lyme Regis. This pretty seaside resort has three beautiful beaches where four-pawed pals area allowed all year, as well as dog-friendly shops and an ice-cream parlour serving dairy-free ‘Doggy Doggy Yum Yum’. One not to miss! A walk along the South West Coast Path is always refreshing or, heading inland, the cottage is only 7 miles from the medieval Forde Abbey, where dogs on leads are allowed in the stunningly beautiful gardens.
