Wake up to the sights and sounds of nature whilst staying at this luxurious converted barn, nestled within acres of picturesque farmland in Angus Glen. Perfectly located at the foot of Glenisla, you have easy access to miles of unspoilt countryside, grand castles and majestic waterfalls along with nearby towns and villages with excellent amenities. Perfect for small families and up to two four-legged friends, guests here are invited to explore the on-site ‘Courtyard’ where you’ll find shopping, crafts and a coffee shop offering delicious lunches, snacks and drinks.
The property itself is a recently converted 17th-century barn that has been finished to a very high standard. Set across a single level there are no tricky stairs to contend with, making this a good option for anyone with limited mobility. The bright, light open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room features huge glass doors at one end, that bring the outdoors in and offer views towards the countryside beyond. The modern kitchen units have been painted in muted hues that perfectly complement the rustic homely feel in this room. Two good-sized comfortable bedrooms provide a tranquil place to rest weary heads after a busy day of adventuring.
The Angus Glens are a series of tranquil valleys enjoying some of the most majestic landscapes in Scotland. The town of Kirriemuir is known as the gateway to the glens and is perhaps best known as the birthplace of Sir JM Barrie. In addition, there is a good selection of shops, cafes and coffee shops in this busy little town. The drama of Reekie Linn waterfall can be found just 7 miles from the property and rewards intrepid explorers (both two- and four-legged) with an incredible sight.
