Snowdonia National Park was awarded Dark Sky Reserve status in 2015 in recognition of the efforts made here to reduce light pollution. This property is perfectly located within the park to be able to enjoy the very best of the incredible views both at night and during the day due to being situated in a stunning mountainous landscape. A stunning country house with plenty of rooms for up to eight human and two four-legged guests, this property is warm, welcoming and incredibly spacious.
You’ll feel like royalty as you travel up the sweeping driveway towards the front of the house. However, whilst the outside is grand and imposing, the inside is warm, welcoming and homely. The dining room houses an enormous table that can comfortably seat twelve. Tartan walls give this room a Celtic feel and keep it from feeling too cavernous. The beautiful lounge features a stone fireplace and dark polished wooden floors with a brightly coloured rug to prevent feet and paws from getting too chilly. There are five good-sized bedrooms and five bathrooms here, which means arguments over who is going to take the first shower will be limited – although there may be some discussions around who will get to bathe in one of the beautiful roll-top baths!
Your four-legged friends are going to be shattered by the end of each exciting day, with a multitude of long walks available right outside the doorstep – it’s not every day you get to stroll around your own private arboretum. If you did want to travel a little further afield, the village pub can be found within a pleasant half-mile walk. Not only is this pub a great place to enjoy a meal, but it also offers its own beer made especially for dogs!
