You can follow the Elan Valley Trail, visit RSPB Carngafallt and the excellent Elan Valley Visitor Centre (both 0.5 miles) which features exhibitions, a cafe, picnic area, bike hire and local information. Dogs are also welcome at the National Cycle Museum in the thriving town of Llandrindod Wells (13 miles). The historic market town of Rhayader (4 miles) offers fantastic walks with its stunning reservoirs and dams.
