Although it’s known as England’s smallest city, Wells has an awful lot to offer visitors to the area. The Cathedral is less than 500 metres’ walk from the front door and is perhaps one of the most beautiful of all the great English cathedrals. Cheddar Gorge (12 miles) is another fantastic and canine-friendly day out, with a cliff-top walk offering unrivalled views of the surrounding landscape. Berrow beach is a 19-mile drive from the property and welcomes dogs every day of the year.
