The gorgeous decor of this country/modern barn complements its pretty rural surroundings. Set on a farm 10 miles from the enticing attractions of the North Cornwall coast, it’s surrounded by fabulous walks that your faithful friend will adore. A great choice for couples or smaller families, it also boasts a shared swimming pool and a games room.

This pretty cottage has been carefully converted to provide a comfortable retreat. On the ground floor you’ll find a light-filled, open-plan living space where there’s plenty of room for a lounging hound. Humans will enjoy the comfy sofas, which are crying out for you to sit back with a great book or snuggle up with a movie. The kitchen/dining area features a charming dresser and Belfast sink as well as all the modern amenities you’ll need for holiday cooking. The upstairs is just as special: a four-poster bed adorns the spacious king-size room, while both bedrooms feature eye-catching exposed beams and high, pitched ceilings. A family bathroom completes the picture inside, while outside there’s even more on offer. Your private patio is the place for al fresco drinks and snacks, while the shared facilities comprise an outdoor heated swimming pool (for summertime use), a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows as the sun goes down, a games room with table football, pool and table tennis, a children’s play area/sand pit, a wood-burning pizza oven and a sloping lawn with football goal.

For adventures in the fresh air, as well as ball throwing, sniffing and general doggie delights, explore the incredible variety of Cornish countryside all around: Bodmin Moor, the Tamar Valley, and Dartmoor National Park are all within 20 miles. Beach days are easily possible, too, with popular Bude and its dog-friendly beaches, quality restaurants and variety of shops just 16 miles.

Barn was well equipped and comfortable. Great location for exploring nearby villages, attractions as well as further afield. Swimming pool lovely and warm and used often. Had a great holiday.

Beautiful, quiet cottage and location - surrounded by county side. Play area and a heated outdoor swimming pool which was used everyday even when the air temperature was 13 degrees.
