The area is ideal for your canine companions, with plenty of great walks and dog-friendly pubs and beaches nearby. The property is ideally situated just inside Exmoor National Park, giving you miles of rugged countryside and beautiful views to discover. The South West Coast Path is also easily accessible, allowing both dogs and their humans to enjoy breathtaking clifftop walks.
The cosy and welcoming property features a lovely lounge where you can sit back and watch a movie at the end of a great day out. You can share a family meal and chat about the day’s adventures in the fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen/diner. There’s also a charming south-facing sun room for you to unwind in. Outside, you can sit back in the pretty garden which is enclosed with a high wooden fence, which ensures privacy and is perfect for dogs too. There’s also a seating area outside so that lazy paws can take a little sun when it all gets too much. At the front of the property you will find a private footpath with a low wall and a running stream.
Combe Martin is a pretty and dog-friendly seaside town with a quaint harbour and a lovely beach (dogs permitted between October and April). Hounds are made welcome throughout this breathtaking area, and there are many wonderful coastal towns and villages to explore including Ilfracombe (5.5 miles), Woolacombe (11 miles) and Croyde (14 miles). You can take the dogs on the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway (13 miles) or explore the grounds at Arlington House (6.5 miles) while the humans in the party visit the Carriage Museum.
