Nestled in the charming village of Mevagissey, with the harbour front and coastal path half a mile away, this expansive home is a stylish coastal retreat for a large group of friends or multiple families accompanied by a couple of canine companions. Boasting light-filled rooms, a large garden with an al fresco dining area and an outdoor heated swimming pool, this commanding coastal home ensures you can enjoy a memorable West Country adventure.

With two lounges offering comfortable seating and sea views, and a dining room that accommodates the entire party, this property ensures everyone can come together and socialise. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing feasts for large gatherings, and a utility room is there for your convenience. The ground floor hosts one of the nine bedrooms as well as a shower room and two separate cloakrooms. Upstairs, eight bright and breezy bedrooms await, all with en-suite shower rooms and TVs. Three double bedrooms and one twin bedroom offer uninterrupted sea views, while three more doubles and one twin, along with a family bathroom, complete the upper floor. The spacious gardens feature an enclosed patio area with garden furniture, a BBQ and a large lawn – a perfect setting for al fresco dining or ball games with faithful friends. The swimming pool is the star of the show, shared with the owner and open from mid-May until mid-September, weather permitting.

The village boasts a delightful array of pubs and restaurants, offering the freshest catch of the day, though please note that the return to the property involves a steep hill. For adventurous hounds, the coastal path unfolds the unique wonders of Cornwall, revealing secluded coves and sandy beaches on walks to get tails wagging. The renowned 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' are a 2-mile drive away, where four-legged friends are welcome to join you on the lead. If you manage to tear yourself away from home, a visit to Truro (14.5 miles) won’t disappoint, with its cathedral, narrow cobbled streets, vibrant shops and pup-positive pubs and cafes.

Thoroughly enjoyable long weekend, suitable for large gatherings spacious accommodation with lovely outside areas. Not a modern property maybe a little dated but fully functional.

We were a big family gathering of 12+ of all ages. The farmhouse worked for us. We had some great meals together inside and out..The pool was a dividend.

We stayed with 19 friends and family members coming and going throughout the week to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Plenty of space for everyone, lovely views; the swimming pool was great, warm and well used. A couple of problems we had in the kitchen were very promptly sorted out by the owner next door. We had a great week.

Lovely well equipped house in a quiet area but only 10 mins walk from the harbour and shops of Mevagissey. Plenty of space for all guests so that if anyone wants to they can find a quiet place inside. Fabulous sun rises.

It had everything we wanted, The kitchen was wonderfully well equipped and really spacious. The pool is especially good- warm water, large for a single household and built in a sheltered spot. The garden was large and had plenty of garden chairs and tables. The rooms were also smart and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I cannot think Read moreof any improvements we would recommend. We are likely to book again for next year Hide

We stayed for one week at this property, nine adults three children. Great place to stay lovely property in a fantastic location. Walking distance to town and all amenities. Fully equipped with everything you could need, very clean, friendly approachable owners. The outdoor swimming pool is a great bonus, clean and warm, used it every day.
