Up to three guests and one medium-sized, four-legged friend can enjoy making a great escape to this inviting holiday home. Indulge in long coastal walks from your base, which is about 5 miles from the sea, and discover beaches where you can pause for a while to play in the shallows.

 

Enter your delightful holiday home to find character-filled, cottage-style accommodation. At ground-floor level, the open-plan layout will suit all members of your group. Relax together after long days in the fresh Cornish air; settle down to a DVD while Fido tucks into a feast and your own dinner roasts in the oven. Indulge in a hot shower in your ground-floor shower room before bidding your pal goodnight and heading up to one of your two first-floor bedrooms. You have shared access to a laundry room, making it easy to wash your dog blankets. Relax with a cup of tea and a slice of cake at the end of your exciting day in either the beautiful main garden or in your private outdoor area while Fido also has a well-earned treat.

 

Pick up the lead and head straight out from home to explore the Hartland Peninsula on the 4-mile, circular Coastal Heritage Walk. Drive approximately 6 miles to Bude, where you can let your pet run free on Upton Towans Beach. Summerleaze is also popular with dog-lovers and has a friendly café where your pal will be welcomed with open paws and can help himself to a bowl of water.

The Dairy was adequate enough, though rather small. Garden is beautiful. I didnt realise that there is a rather busy road outside the front door though.

Comfortable cottage with good shower and plenty of hot water. Beds comfortable. Own patio area and full use of owners beautiful garden. Very friendly and helpful owners next door. Lovely cottage, small and cosy but with everything you need for a relaxing break, The outside space is lovely to relax in listening to the birds and the use of the owners own fabulous garden and summer house is a lovely bonus. Fantastic hosts and a good location to travel from to sightsee. The garden is wonderful and being able to use it is a bonus. The cottage is very reasonably priced and although small has everything that you need. There are local shops and places to eat or get a takeaway from. The cooking facilities are pretty good in the cottage. We would recommend Read morebut not especially suitable for disabled travellers. We had a lovely holiday great location beautiful cottage gardens are beautiful great for our dog to explore with our . Just down the road you have a coop pub which we recommend and is called the new inn lovely food and a pizza takeaway which was good and also you have a Chinese which was lovely. The owns Gerald and sally are lovely made

Owners are welcoming,friendly and informative. The gardens which they generously allowed us to share are beautiful. The basket of eggs from their chickens, milk and teas etc are very welcome after a long journey. We would recommend them every time.

A lovely little cottage. Perfect base for visiting the area. Our hosts were friendly & on hand if help was needed. Comfy bed, good shower & a stunning garden to enjoy. Great value for money. Bude & Sandymouth close by and worth a visit for the coastal walks. Boscastle is a delightful harbour about 30mins away. Worth a walk to Kilkhampton Common tooRead more - right in the village. The trip home at the end of any holiday is always a low key affair after enjoying time away. The cottage was in a beautiful location and near to lovely places such as Sandymouth. We were able to drive just 30 mins to Bocastle which was a lovely walk and because the cottage is in a quiet area we were able to relax which is exactly what we wanted when we weren't out and about. Sally and Gerald were great and kindly let us check in early afteRead morer a long drive down, they checked that everything was okay on a few occasions and recommended nice places for us to visit.
