Situated half a mile from the village of St Dogmaels on the estuary of the River Teifi in West Wales, this single-storey property sleeps two guests as well as two of their four-legged friends. The riverside is less than 100 metres from the property’s front door; a gentle stroll along it will bring you to the village centre and on towards the historic town of Cardigan, 2 miles away.
With a cosy and welcoming feel, this bungalow is an ideal base from which to explore this pretty area of West Wales. The open-plan living area comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner which has been finished with personal touches to give it a comfortable and homely atmosphere. To the rear of the property, the enclosed garden is mainly gravelled and is a great spot for enjoying al fresco drinks whilst your puppy pals sniff around and stretch their legs.
Walking from this property, you can easily reach St Dogmaels village centre where you can find a choice of places to eat, several of which are idyllically situated on the riverside. The river meanders east from here to Cardigan, or north towards the beach at Poppit Sands, part of which is open to dogs throughout the year, ensuring that your canine companion can experience the joys of the sea wind in his fur and the waves lapping at his paws even during the height of summer. Less than 50 metres from the front door of the property, you can discover splendid walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, where a bus runs at convenient times allowing you pick it up at the end of a day of walking.
