With a fabulous sense of space and light, this attractive barn conversion is the ideal spot if you are looking for a quiet retreat close to the Devon coast. Sleeping up to six guests and two puppy pals, the property is ideally located for enjoying walks in the surrounding countryside and is just 7 miles from beaches, harbour villages, and the South West Coast Path.

Upon arrival, make yourselves at home in the spacious kitchen/diner, the natural heart of the property, where you will find a well-equipped kitchen and a farmhouse-style dining table. There’s also a seating area, adding a second space to relax in addition to the separate lounge. Two of the bedrooms, the king-size and the double, both offer en-suite bathrooms, whilst there is also a shower room on the ground floor of the property. An enclosed patio is a lovely spot for enjoying al fresco drinks or dinner, as well as providing a space for your dogs to get outside and sniff the fresh country air.

Whatever your interests, you will find plenty to see and do within easy reach of this property, from the historic towns of Great Torrington (3.5 miles), Holsworthy (12 miles), and Bideford (6 miles), to the quaint fishing villages of Appledore (9 miles) and Clovelly (13 miles). Children will be thrilled to spend a day at The Milky Way Adventure Park (11 miles), whilst the stunning walks along the South West Coast Path are sure to set the tails of your canine companions wagging with joy. Of course, everyone loves a day at the beach, and there are plenty of options nearby, including the wide sandy beach at Westward Ho! (8.5 miles), a portion of which is open to dogs throughout the year.

Lovely Barn conversion. So clean and light. Great views from all rooms and really well equipt. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

Great location for what we wanted, lovely and quiet with great views. Spacious for 5 adults and one dog (just mind your heads in the upstairs bathrooms!). We visited Westward Ho! beach, Appledore, Croyde and walked to Baggy Point, Braunton and Bideford. The Barn was well equipped, clean and warm. The towels were exceptionally white and fluffy! Very spacious kitchen dinner. Bedrooms were well fitted out and upstairs lounge was a perfect size for us. The children made good use of the DVDs or one in particular ! Luckily we had good weather so were out most days and didn't have to resort to the good selection of games & books. We were very happy with our stay.

The cottage was well equipped & in a beautiful location. The enclosed garden made it a safe place for the children & our dog. The barbecue & outside seating area was a great asset. The downstairs kitchen, dining area & comfortable seating area was our favourite room.The upstairs lounge was huge & was very well stocked with games, videos & books. IfRead more you are tall mind your heads on the sloping roof !! There were wonderful views across open countryside & the sunsets were glorious. Hide
