Stretch out and unwind in this spacious cottage, where all guests, both the two-legged and four-legged kind, are most welcome. The warm spot in front of the wood burner is always a favourite place to unwind after a day of exploring the Devonshire countryside and the Tamar Lakes, situated less than a mile away. In the summer, meanwhile, the enclosed garden with its covered seating area is a wonderful place for everyone to enjoy al fresco meals.
Set within the owner’s 300-acre organic farm, this pretty cottage is a delightful place to stay. A large brick fireplace dominates the cosy living area and is just one example of the fine original features found within the property. One bedroom, a twin, is handily located on the ground floor, so there is no need for your dogs to feel lonely downstairs on their own at night, and there is also a shower room down here too. The bathroom, meanwhile, with its sumptuous roll-top bath can be found on the first floor alongside the two remaining bedrooms: a double and a second twin.
Outside, an enclosed lawn and patio seating area provide space for both human guests and their doggy pals to enjoy the fresh air and quiet surroundings. Step straight out from this property’s front door to wander through the farm and on towards the picturesque surroundings of the Tamar Lakes which are situated within half a mile of the cottage. To the west of the property, meanwhile, some 8 miles away, the beautiful Hartland Heritage Coast awaits, where walkers can follow the South West Coast Path through some simply beautiful coastal landscapes, where children and pets will love jumping through waves and running across sandy beaches.
