We are wagging our tails with excitement here at Canine Cottages with a very exciting announcement… this year, we are the headline sponsor for Bring Your Dog To Work Day!
This exciting event will take place on 26th June 2020 and we hope to spread the message to as many humans as possible in the coming months, ensuring no one misses out on the chance to bring their four-legged pals to work. Hopefully you can help us by letting all the other humans know!
Now in its seventh year, Bring Your Dog To Work Day activities are all in an effort to raise money for two fantastic charities: All Dogs Matter and Animal Asia.
Jo Amit of HOWND, the ethical pet care company and founders of Bring Your Dog To Work Day, says: “We are thrilled that Canine Cottages has come on board as a headline sponsor in the pet travel sector. A great sponsorship like this is mutually advantageous. For us, the benefits include increased funding, support and visibility, and our sponsors can benefit from the chance to make a difference by contributing to two worthy causes as well as getting some good PR and brand exposure. Every year, Bring Your Dog To Work Day gets hundreds of pieces of media coverage, in the press, online, on TV, radio and social media, with the hashtag #BringYourDogToWorkDay securing the #1 trending position on Twitter annually.”
Bring Your Dog To Work Day has become a highlight in the dog-loving community calendar and each year, thousands of people get involved and bring their best friends to work with them. It’s great fun for everyone who gets involved and the paw-sitive health benefits of having a dog in the office are well known. Keep your eyes out in the coming weeks for advice on getting your office ready for the big day, our exciting ‘The Pawfessionals’ series featuring some incredible dogs with jobs, and incentives to help you get your boss on board!
Our Social Media Manager, Simon Locker, commented: "We’ve been taking part in Bring Your Dog To Work Day for a number of years now and are thrilled to be the headline sponsors for 2020 to support the important work of the two charities. We specialise in taking dogs and their humans on holiday, but of course, we can’t be on holiday all the time, so the next best thing is to be able to take your dog to work.”
If you still, for some bizarre reason, need convincing, here are a few reasons why you should bring your dog to work!
