The spectacular kitchen features a wonderful, vaulted ceiling and has a comfortable seating area overlooking the garden. Just off the kitchen you’ll find the warm and inviting lounge, where you can unwind on the plump sofas to watch the Smart TV, while the hounds snooze in front of the wood burner. Completing the ground floor is a fabulous cinema room as well as a utility room. Up on the first floor, discover three exceptional bedrooms, all with quirky features – one super-king-size and two king-size, all with en-suite facilities and Smart TVs. On the second floor, find two wonderful bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill shower room – two sumptuous doubles. Across the driveaway, head to the charming lodge with two self-contained apartments where you’ll find two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, the other served by a chic bathroom. Both apartments have a kitchen and lounge area. Outside, the huge, enclosed garden has so much to offer, including an outdoor swimming pool (April – September) with a pool house that houses showers, a pool table, dartboard, and a bar. Get the heart pumping with a visit to the on-site gym or tennis court, or unwind in one of the two hot tubs. Let little ones run wild in the play area, while the adults prepare an al fresco dinner on the terrace using the BBQ.
The vibrant city of Canterbury (7 miles) has a fantastic array of independent shops and eateries. Enjoy walkies around its historic streets to visit the three UNESCO sites within the city, including Canterbury Cathedral. Other popular dog walks from the city include the picturesque River Stour trail and the traffic-free Crab and Winkle Way. Heading to the coast, you’ll soon reach East Cliff and Warren Country Park (15 miles).
