Part of a holiday park in Welney, Norfolk, this delightful lodge is set in tranquil surroundings. Rustle up hearty meals in the useful and well-equipped kitchen which can be enjoyed around the dining table, set in front of the patio doors overlooking the park. Let sleeping dogs lie as you get cosy on the sofas and watch a movie on the Smart TV. When you are ready to get some much-needed rest, head through to one of the two bedrooms, a cosy double equipped with a Smart TV, and a charming twin bedroom. Completing the accommodation is a delightful shower room. Outside is a large, enclosed garden. The dogs can safely explore as you soak away the day in the luxurious hot tub. The holiday park has three lakes where angling enthusiasts can enjoy fishing.

Head off on foot and paw into the countryside around the park where you can explore Welney Wetland Centre and the waterside footpaths along the river. The town of Downham Market (12 miles) is one of Norfolk’s oldest towns and still holds a bustling market on weekends. Set on River Great Ouse, the historic town of King’s Lynn (24 miles) has plenty of dog-friendly pubs where you can enjoy a bite to eat before you go barking mad on some of the delightful walking routes here.

We had a great time in this quirky cottage. Pleasantly surprised with the modern amenities like the dishwasher. Everything in the cottage was perfectly adequate for our needs. The hot tub was a lovely addition with the perfect little patio and view. The garden was perfectly secure for the dogs to have freedom in. Would love to stay again
