Find hound dog heaven when you and your four-legged friend stay at this magnificent barn near Biddenden. Sleeping six guests, the gorgeous, three-bedroom retreat nestles in 20 acres of beautiful grounds, with footpaths fields and a natural pond. It has its own enclosed, lawned garden where your cheerful chum can explore and play out in the sunshine and is less than 1 mile from the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its picturesque walks.

Follow your four-pawed pal into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has underfloor heating, and prepare to be wowed by its high, vaulted and beamed ceiling and beautiful space. Light the wood burner to warm chilly fur after winter walks and settle down in front of the TV. Open the stable door on summer days to bring a summer breeze into the splendid space. Prepare meals for all members of your party, including pups, over in the stylish kitchen area and call the humans over to the table when dinner is ready to enjoy. There is also a utility room downstairs, where you can store your doggy accessories, plus a family shower room and a super-king-size bedroom that can be made up as a twin if discussed in advance. A double bedroom and a twin, which can be set up as a super-king-size by prior arrangement, are on the first floor of the barn, together with an exquisite bathroom with freestanding bath. Play fetch out in the lawned garden on sunny days. Light the BBQ, cook supper in the fresh air and take your canine companion for walks through the wider grounds.

Visit the National Trust’s Sissinghurst Castle Garden, where there are more 450 acres to enjoy together. Plan a day out on the coast. Greatstone Beach, 21 miles away, is dog friendly all year round.

A wonderful spot to celebrate a family birthday. The Barn is well equipped and comfortable and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom worked well for my less mobile parents. And there are so many interesting places to visit locally - we could easily have stayed longer than a week.

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully decorated barn. Everything we needed was thought of in terms of facilities and equipment. The location is perfect for exploring, however we had terrible weather so spent most of our time in the barn, playing board games, cooking and eating, which was very relaxing and exactly what was needed after a busRead morey festiva period. I would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. The hosts are also lovely and very helpful. Hide

The Barn is beautifully decorated and everything you need has been considered - its a pleasure to stay in. The ground floor bedroom and bathroom worked very well for my parents who have some mobility issues.
