Escape the humdrum of everyday life in this attractive holiday home in the quaint hamlet of Garras, near the Lizard Peninsula. The property sleeps two humans and one small/medium sized waggy-tailed pal, and is surrounded by rolling hills, offering endless walking opportunities for you and the woofer. After a day of adventure, unwind in the enclosed courtyard garden, admiring the far-reaching rural views.
Enter the single-storey barn conversion into the tiled hallway, where you can store your walking boots and hang up the dog lead. From here, move into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which boasts a vaulted ceiling and ample space for the pup to set up camp. Cook together in the cleverly designed kitchen area, and share romantic dinners at the table by the window. In the evenings, sink into the sofa, with Fido stretched out at your feet, to read a book or watch TV. The living area has hard flooring – ideal for dealing with muddy pawprints – and underfloor heating to create cosy dozing spots for your furry chum. When it’s time for bed, retire to the king-size bedroom, which enjoys relaxing countryside views. A gorgeous shower room rounds off the accommodation. Outside, a sunny, enclosed courtyard awaits, where the woofer can stretch their legs and you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.
The traditional Cornish town of Helston is 5 miles away. Take a walk with the hound along its pretty, Georgian streets, or head down to the boating lake for a relaxing waterside stroll. For a longer jaunt, the woodland tracks and trails of Penrose Estate, are within 7 miles. Journey south to experience the remote beauty of the Lizard Peninsula, with its dramatic coast paths and hidden coves. Many of the beaches on the Lizard welcome furry visitors, including Mullion Cove and Kennack Sands.
