Your pack is sure to go barking mad when they arrive at this traditional terraced cottage in Heacham. A Grade II-listed retreat, it’s full of character and warmly welcomes four humans in two bedrooms, as well as two happy hounds. After a memorable day enjoying doggy paddles along the Norfolk coast, your pups can warm their paws beside the cosy wood burner and dream of their next tail-wagging adventures.
Enter the cottage and head straight for the lounge where you can relax in comfort on the big sofa in front of the Smart TV. Light the wood burner and listen to the crackle of the flames as your doggos enjoy a well-deserved snooze. When tummies start to rumble, the kitchen has everything you could need to whip up something tasty and there is an extendable dining table which seats the whole party. Upstairs, two restful bedrooms await, a double and a twin, which share the family bathroom. When the sun is shining, pad out to the enclosed garden and let the pups play while you enjoy a chilled tipple on the patio.
When it’s time for walkies, you can follow the shared walkway from the property which leads to a gate that opens out onto the main road. After crossing, you have a direct footpath down towards the dog-friendly Heacham South Beach (restrictions apply). Only 1 mile away is Heacham North Beach which is dog-friendly all year round without any restrictions. For pup-friendly days out, Norfolk Lavender (0.5 miles) welcomes dogs on leads, and they are also allowed to sniff out the 243 hectares of parkland at Sandringham (7 miles). More glorious beaches can be found in the nearby seaside resorts of Hunstanton (3 miles) and Wells-next-the-Sea (17 miles).
