Once a grain store, this now elegant property offers comfortable accommodation for up to eight family or friends, as well as three dogs. You’ll be 1 mile from the popular coastal village of Abersoch where you can while away an afternoon, and on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which provides ample opportunity for scenic rural walks. With plenty of outdoor chill-out spots including a courtyard and a roof terrace, this attractive holiday home has ample space for kicking back and enjoying the views and the sunset.

This light and airy property comprises two separate smaller dwellings each with well-equipped kitchens and open-plan lounge/diners. In both, the main living areas are on the ground floor and the bedrooms are on the lower ground floor. There are four beautiful bedrooms altogether – a king, a double and two twins – and the outdoor spaces are furnished with sofas, tables and chairs perfect for relaxed holiday afternoons.

When it’s time to venture out, follow your noses down to Abersoch and enjoy a drink in a local pub then treat your faithful pets to a runaround on the beach. Perhaps you can get a great group photo in front of the colourful beach huts – that’s if your four-pawed friends will stay still! If there’s still pent-up energy to burn, head along the pretty Wales Coast Path to Machroes (1.5 miles) or Llanbedrog (3.5 miles). Further afield, Pwllheli (7.5 miles) and Nefyn (12 miles) both have dog-welcoming beaches you can scout out with your pets. For a fun day out, drive up to the north coast and sniff out the Iron Age hillfort at Tre''r Ceiri (14 miles) then track down the impressive Trefor sea stacks (16.5 miles).

We very much enjoyed our time there but it was disappointing that the area for sitting out outside the upper kitchen had not been swept, neither the decking nor the seating.

We have had many visits to Abersoch and this was the best place we have stayed in. We have had a wonderful week of weather that has enabled us to utilise the lovely beach at its best, particularly at dusk. Hoping to return soon

Our first holiday in Abersoch and we have had a lovely time. The holiday home is comfortable, homely with amazing views. Lots of swimming, sunbathing and frisbee at the beach and we loved having drinks at Zinc! We also ate at The Sun Inn which was great. Creel chippy also a must. We will be back!

Overall a very good weekend away, however was disappointed that there was no hot water, so ended up on calls to the owner and fault finding until problem was sorted (Saturday noon). We had 2 babies under 12 months and a 5 yr old in our party so was not ideal.
