Lead the way to adventure from this charming cottage in a rural corner of Snowdonia National Park. Perfect for a family of four and your two canine companions, as no holiday is complete without your beloved dogs. With the coastal path and the rolling mountains on the doorstep, you will never be short of things to do.
Containing original features such as exposed beams and high vaulted ceilings, this lovely cottage is super welcoming and is a wonderful home from home. Cook up hearty breakfasts, prepare picnics and rustle up delicious dinners in the kitchen, before you eat together around the spacious dining table. Curl up with the dogs in the lounge in front of the inglenook fireplace and catch up on your favourite shows, or soak up some rays in the comfortable sunroom next door. When you are ready to get some sleep, head upstairs to either the double or twin bedroom. The sunroom opens onto a lovely terrace with seating and a lawn area. Let the dogs and children play on the grass as you admire the incredible coastal views over a morning coffee or evening tipple.
Go mutts along the Wales Coast Path, which passes right by the property, and soak up the unspoilt rugged coastline. Tal-y-Bont Beach (500 metres) is a wide sand and shingle beach which allows dogs to run free along the shores. The village itself is a pretty place for a stroll and has a wonderful dog-friendly pub with large garden. For those who prefer a challenge, head into the forest and mountains of Snowdonia and climb the many peaks here, including the impressive Mount Snowdon (23 miles).
