For local days out, there are stunning National Trust properties close by, including Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens (7 miles) and Bodiam Castle (17 miles). Leeds Castle is extremely impressive and often hosts events and displays, 7 miles away. Take your pick of Kent’s vineyards to visit: Chapel Down is 13.5 miles from the house, Balfour winery is 4 miles away and Gusbourne is 17 miles. There are lots of scenic walking and cycling routes in the nearby countryside for you and your furry friend to enjoy, and for golf fans, there are three golf courses nearby.
